I'm sorry you were not there at our departure so that we couldn't say goodbye properly. But I'm sure Paola deliver our greetings properly.
Montserrat, we want to thank you for the hospitality and the help you gave us so that we could find out way better in Barcelona (and so that Frauke could spend her money quicker!).
We heard from friends that the weather was bad in Germany during our stay in Barcelona. We believe them, as we arrived home it rained and the temperature was 16ºC. That was also the temperature yesterday, with rain. Today the temperature is climbing to 22ºC: We are bringing the good weather back!!

You a short message to thank very much you for your kindness during out stay. We enjoyed your city very much and can only say that there is more than enough for us to come back again soon.
I am already letting people know about how splendid the city is, hopefully they will follow our example and pay a visit.

Catalunya is a vibrant place and its people occupy a special place for me, ever since I was a child and read about the civil war and the subsequent struggle against Franco's repression. It made me happy to see how Barcelona has emerged from that dark period to be such a confident and thriving place. Until you have actually visited a place it is difficult to appreciate what attracts other people to it, but I can now see that Barcelona has a rather mystical quality which stems from its history and its struggle for cultural autonomy.

Anyhow, Wendy, Ryan and I send our deep thanks and warmest best wishes for the future, it was reassuring to hear that you are busy and that things will most likely remain that way, you are a hard working person who deserves the success.
